Terms of Service
Last updated: May 5, 2026 · Effective: May 5, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and RebelSites (“RebelSites,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) that governs your access to and use of rebelsites.ai, our AI-powered website builder, the websites you generate and publish through it, and any related products, dashboards, or integrations (collectively, the “Service”). Please read them carefully.
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, and “you” refers to both you individually and that entity. If you do not have that authority, or if you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is not intended for individuals under 16. You must not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, including U.S. export controls and sanctions regulations.
3. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep that information up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password or authentication credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
- You must notify us immediately at hello@rebelsites.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- You may not transfer your account to anyone else without our prior written consent.
- We may require additional verification at any time to confirm your identity, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations.
4. The Service
RebelSites lets you describe your business and have a complete, professional website generated by AI, preview it in a sandbox, edit it in plain English, and publish it to a free RebelSites subdomain or to a custom domain you control. We may add, change, or remove features, models, plans, integrations, and limits over time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect existing paid features.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Plans. The Service offers a free plan and one or more paid subscription plans. Current plan details, prices, and included features are described on our pricing page and may change from time to time.
Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as you select) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the subscription fees, applicable taxes, and any other charges you incur in connection with your account, on the schedule disclosed at checkout, until you cancel.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ advance notice of a price increase, and the new price will take effect at the start of the next billing period after the notice. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the price change takes effect.
Cancellation. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to paid features until then. We do not pro-rate partial-period charges except where required by law or as expressly described in our Refund Policy.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge. If payment is not received after a reasonable number of attempts, we may suspend or downgrade your account and may take down published websites associated with the unpaid subscription.
Taxes. Prices exclude applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) unless we expressly state otherwise. You are responsible for paying any taxes that apply to your purchase.
6. Free plan and trials
The free plan includes a limited number of AI generations and other restrictions described on the pricing page. We may modify the limits or discontinue the free plan at any time. We may also offer free trials or promotional credits that, if not converted to a paid plan, will expire on the date stated at signup.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In short: paid Published plans are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription, subject to the conditions stated in the Refund Policy.
8. Your content
“Your Content” means any prompt, instruction, business description, reference URL, image, logo, copy, or other material you submit to the Service.
You retain ownership. You retain all rights you have in Your Content. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
License to us. You grant RebelSites a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, modify, transmit, and process Your Content solely as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, to enforce these Terms, and to comply with legal obligations. This license ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, except for backups, archival copies, and aggregated or de-identified data we may retain in line with our Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities. You represent and warrant that (a) you own Your Content or have all rights and permissions necessary to submit it, (b) Your Content does not infringe or violate any third party’s rights, and (c) Your Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.
9. Generated output and ownership
“Generated Output” means the websites, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, configuration files, and other artifacts produced by the AI on your behalf in response to Your Content.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and to the rights of any third parties whose content (such as images, logos, or copyrighted text) you incorporate, RebelSites assigns to you all of the rights, title, and interest it may have in the Generated Output produced specifically for you, to the maximum extent permitted by law. You may export, host, modify, and use the Generated Output, including for commercial purposes, on or off the Service.
Because AI models can produce similar or identical output for different users from similar prompts, we cannot guarantee that any particular Generated Output is unique to you. You are responsible for confirming that your final website does not infringe third-party rights before publishing it.
10. AI-generated content disclaimer
The Service uses third-party AI models. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or unintentionally similar to existing material, and may produce results that you would not have authorized. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and approving Generated Output before publishing it. Do not publish AI-generated claims about safety, certifications, licenses, pricing, availability, professional credentials, medical or legal advice, or any other matter that requires accuracy without verifying them yourself.
Do not include sensitive personal information, payment card numbers, government identifiers, protected health information, or confidential third-party information in your prompts.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit anyone else to:
- Use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Generate, host, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, sexually explicit, child-exploitative, or that promotes hate or violence;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Generate or publish content designed to deceive consumers about a business’s identity, ownership, certifications, or qualifications;
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or malware, or to facilitate security attacks;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, the servers or networks providing it, or our subprocessors;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or AI prompts from the Service, except to the extent that this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- Resell, sublicense, or rent access to the Service, or use the Service to build or train a competing product or service, without our prior written consent;
- Circumvent rate limits, quotas, plan limits, or technical safeguards;
- Misrepresent yourself, your business, or your relationship to a business when generating or publishing a website.
We may, at our discretion, refuse, remove, or take down any content or websites that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to RebelSites, our users, our subprocessors, or the public.
12. Custom domains
On eligible plans, you may connect a domain you own to a website you publish through the Service. You are responsible for owning, registering, renewing, and managing your domain through your registrar of choice. We do not register, sell, or hold your domain. Connecting a domain may require you to make DNS changes; you are responsible for those changes and for any consequences they have on other services that share the domain.
We provision and renew TLS certificates on your behalf for connected domains. We may revoke certificates and disconnect a domain if we are required to do so by a certificate authority, by applicable law, or by these Terms.
13. Our intellectual property
RebelSites and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including the website, applications, source code, prompt-engineering systems, model orchestration, infrastructure, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
The names “RebelSites,” the RebelSites logo, and any related trademarks are owned by RebelSites. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except as needed to fairly identify the Service.
14. Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback to us, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service or our other products, with no obligation to compensate or credit you.
15. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, payments, AI inference, analytics, and other functions. The Service may also let you integrate third-party tools (for example, analytics, booking, or chat widgets) into your generated website. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services, and we may add, change, or remove integrations over time.
16. Copyright and DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to hello@rebelsites.ai that includes:
- An identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- A description of the material you claim is infringing and where it is located on the Service;
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may close your account from your dashboard. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if (a) you breach these Terms, (b) we are required to do so by law, (c) your account is associated with fraud or abuse, or (d) we discontinue the Service or a feature.
Upon termination of your account, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may, but are not required to, delete or take down published websites associated with the terminated account. You may export your Generated Output before terminating, and we will provide a reasonable export window where feasible.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law, and miscellaneous) will survive.
18. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT, GENERATED OUTPUT, AND MATERIALS PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REBELSITES AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SUBPROCESSORS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT GENERATED OUTPUT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, RANK ON ANY SEARCH ENGINE, COMPLY WITH ANY PARTICULAR INDUSTRY REGULATION, OR ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR BUSINESS RESULT.
19. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REBELSITES AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SUBPROCESSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, BUSINESS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
20. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RebelSites and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service, including any websites you publish through it, (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Subject to Section 22, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
22. Arbitration and class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. If you are located in the United States, you and RebelSites agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court if the claim qualifies. The arbitration will take place in South Carolina (or by video, at the arbitrator’s discretion), and the arbitrator’s award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class-action waiver. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and RebelSites agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@rebelsites.ai within 30 days of first accepting these Terms with your name, account email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
23. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Service before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If you continue to use the Service after the new Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription.
24. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and RebelSites regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Notices. We may give notice by email to the address associated with your account or by posting on the Service. You may give notice to us at hello@rebelsites.ai.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, internet outages, and provider failures.
- Independent contractors. The parties are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, agency, or joint-venture relationship.
- Export controls. You agree to comply with all applicable export laws and not to use the Service in any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions.
